Sunset bowl

Alchemists failed through centuries of effort to turn base metals into gold. It could be that they were just working with the wrong material. This beautiful bowl that looks as if is alloy of copper and silver is, in fact, glass with a silvery finish on the interior and a coppery glass on its outer surface.
